Capturing birds with a camera is challenging.
Usually, they are flying high above our heads, or sitting up in the trees.
With a telephoto lens, you may capture some closeups. It takes a great quantity of patience to get the perfect image.
For birds in flight there are so many factors to consider.
- Is the bird in the frame? ... Panning along the flight path may capture the right moment.
- Can you see details? ...Set the lighting, the distance, change the lens length ...
Here are some of my prints offered at Fine Art America. They are not exotic birds, but just your average backyard visitors.
